Prithvi Narayan Shah was the last ruler of the Gorkha kingdom and the first monarch of the Kingdom Of Nepal, and though not formally, he was considered as the father of the Nation of Nepal.

• He was kind and generous from an early age. He made provision of Marawat, a compensation for soldier's death paid to his family. He accepts the suggestions from general people and acts accordingly.
• Along with the invasion of Gorkha, he wanted to protect it from the Gorkha troops, so he wanted to uniform the small kingdoms into a single country.
• He was far-sighted and clever, so he made friendly relations with neighbouring countries. He always looks forward to the welfare of his people.
