1. There are five major types of tray column; bubble cap tray, sieve deck tray, dual flow tray, valve tray and baffle tray. Bellow is discussed each type.

2. Fractional Distillation:

It is a process of separation of a chemical mixture whose components have different boiling points.

It is an special type of distillation in which two miscible liquids having different boiling points but closed to each other are separated by fractionating column.

3. The primary advantage of vacuum distillation is that it allows for distilling heavier materials at lower temperatures than those that would be required at atmospheric pressure, thus avoiding thermal cracking of the components
