1. After independence in 1950, the Planning Commission was set-up under the chairmanship of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. It was to formulate plans for the economic development of the country on the basis of the available physical, capital and human resources.

2. Government has given some benefits to small scale industries. 3. The government has also launched some programmes namely Training for Rural Youth for Self-Employment (TRYSEM) and Jawahar Rozgar Yojana.

3. It provides a social security that enables citizens to create their own economic security. The future of government builds on these foundations of protecting and providing. ...   1. Planning Commission set up in March in the year 1950 by Govt of India. Basic Objective was to assess all available resources, augmenting deficient resources and formulate yearly and five yearly plans with the aim of improving the economic and social well-being of people. The Commission was an institution of Govt.
  2. Government should work toward technical hands and it should open more factorise. More chance should be provided to the youths. It will reduce unemployment in the country.
  3. India must maximize human development and leverage the aspirations of youth, women and vulnerable populations. In short, India needs to realize the power of aspirations by creating opportunities that are available to all.
  4. Presently, only two sectors- Atomic Energy and Railway operations- are reserved exclusively for the public sector.
