☆ANSWER☆

Mesopotamians used writing to record sales and purchases, to write letters to one another, and to tell stories. The incredibly important invention of the wheel is also credited to the Sumerians; the earliest discovered wheel dates to 3500 BCE in Mesopotamia.

Explanation:

Many things people also answered them already, but if you ask me what is the most important contribution of them, I would rather say, Written Alphabet and Writing Skills, Sumerians were first the people to write and other alphabets like Hebrew, Hieroglyph, and Aramaic or Greece were all derived from them, it is been studied that Sumerians were like immigrants to the Mesopotamia from somewhere like India because their language was like isolated from other neighbors and had no similarity to its neighbors, I do believe that written alphabet is the most important Mesopotamian contribution to the world by Sumerians.
