1. valency of atom will be 1

2. valency is 3

3. valency of helium is not 2 as its first shell is has 2 electrons, obeying the duplet rule. thus its valency will be zero

4. a) protons = atomic no = 3

neutrons = mass no - atomic no = 7-3 = 4

b) valency of lithium is 1. diagram in attached pic
