1. proteins are synthesised in rough endoplasmic reticulum [ RER ].

2. Lysosomes are known as suicidal bags of cell because they are capable of breaking down all waste materials.

Its function is to digest waste materials in the cell.

In 1831, Robert brown (1773-1858)was the first person to discover the nucleus (plural:nuclei) of the cell by discovering pollen grains traveling in and out of the ovals in the cells of orchids.

Lysosome is a membrane-bound organelle that originated from ER. It contains powerful hydrolytic enzymes ( proteins that use water to break down substances), which are highly acidic. It's main function is to digest large molecules as foods, recycle old components of cells, and kill invading microorganisms.

Proteins synthesized in RER (rough endoplasmic reticulum).

RER modifies and process proteins by adding sugars to it to form glycoproteins.
