Abdul Kalam study aerospace engineering in Madras Institute of Technology. It is located in Chennai. It is a public university. APJ Abdul kalam was a good student. He performed well. Later, he got the name "Missile Man of India".

in 1992-1999. He joined DRDOas a scientist. He made hovercraft there. His carrer started to begin.

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam or A.P.J . Kalam studied physics and aerospace engineering.In the year 1955 , he moved to Madras for studying aerospace engineering in Madras Institute of Technology(MIT). He graduated in aerospace engineering in the year 1960.

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was the secretary of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)from 1992 to 1999. He joined there as a scientist.His career started by making a hovercraft there.
