Patol Babu was quite imaginative. Just before his scene was to be shot, he suggested to the director that the scene would look much more natural if he walked while reading a newspaper and the hero bumped into him in that state. The director liked his idea and implemented it.

According to Patol Babu the people in filmdom were insensitive to real art. They could neither recognize a true artist nor appreciate him.

As he stood near the paan shop, he heared people talk glowingly about the hero and the director of the film. Patol Babu felt surprised his ignorance about both of them. Since he had no interest in movies, he neither knew who Chanchal Kumar was nor who Baren Mullick was.
