The industrial sector of the economy is one that make finished products which can then be utilized viz. construction and manufacturing industry. Industrial sector is also known as secondary sector.

Secondary sector deals with conversion of raw material into finished goods and a potter uses clay,water,machine etc.to convert clay and silt into pots and other goods. A potter cannot fall under service sector and pottery is not at all providing service,it is purely manufacturing.
