Answer: 1. Portuguese.  2. they got commodities from the Europeans that benefited them and they also somehow "introduced them to technologies"  and improved their lifestyle 3. I am not completely certain but because when the Europeans came to Ghana they brought Christianity with them so it influenced their education too. 4.The best known Castle Schools on the Gold Coast included the one operated by the Dutch at the former Portuguese fortress at Elmina, the British school at Cape Coast Castle, and the Danish school at Christiansborg, near Accra. The Wesleyan and Basel missionaries established schools in Cape Coast, Accra, Anomabu, Dixcove, Akropong and all along the coast in 1830s to 1850s respectively.
