THANKS FOR ASKING SUCH A QUESTION DEAR FRIEND ☺️✌️

1. As air rises, the pressure decreases. It is this lower pressure at higher altitudes that causes the temperature to be colder on top of a mountain than at sea level

2. While during summers, temperature may reach up to 50°C in some parts of Rajasthan and western Gujarat, while at the same time the temperature may be just around 20°C in Jammu and Kashmir.

While Ladakh and Leh may experience temperature as low as -40°C during winters, the temperature at Chennai may hover around 20°C to 25°C on the same day
