Most of us and during the last several generations before us, public men in India, have looked up to the British model as the best. For the last thirty of forty years, some kind of responsibility has been introduced in the governance of this country. As a matter of fact, today, the Dominion Government of India is functioning as a full-fledged Parliamentary government.”
