as when we wash clothes the solution made by detergent and water is a hypertonic solution and when we put our fingers in it for a long time due to diffusion the water transfers from higher concentration (finger) to lower concentration(solution)and our fingers shrink.

hey \: dear \: here \: is \: your \: answer
⭐️<============================>⭐️

➊.We wash clothes with soap or detergent. The detergent solution is hypertonic compared to concentration of cell sap in our skin cells. Washing of clothes with hands leads to exosmosis in the skin cells resulting in flow of water continuously from skin cell to outside. Due to this, the skin of fingers shrink.

➋.Endocytosis is a process by which animals take food and other substances from external medium by plasma membrane.This is only possible in animals where plasma membrane is the outermost cell coveringand is in direct contact with external medium. Plant cells have rigid cell wall as the outermost covering. Therefore, the plasma membrane of plant cell cannot perform endocytosis.
