Answer:

1. It is always good to wash food grains before using so that the dust gets washed away and if there are any insects then they will float on top and we can remove it.

2. Field fallow, crop rotation and mixed cropping are three natural methods of replenishing the nutrients of the soil. These natural methods are not enough and farmers have to resort to manures and fertilisers.

3. It is not advisable because rice is a kharif crop and requires a lot of moisture. Therefore, it would be inadvisable to grow in the rabi (winter) season. This is so because rice is a kharif crops and it requires more water for growth.

4. Nitrogen fixation is the process by which atmospheric nitrogen is converted by either a natural or an industrial means to a form of nitrogen such as ammonia. In nature, most nitrogen is harvested from the atmosphere by microorganisms to form ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates that can be used by plants.

5. Crop rotation is considered a good agricultural practice because it helps the soil to regain it's fertility as new crops needs different nutrients than others , so it becomes easier to grow .
