  1. Water carries nutrients to all cells in our body and oxygen to our brain. Water allows the body to absorb and assimilate minerals, vitamins, amino acids, glucose and other substances. Water flushes out toxins and waste. Water helps to regulate body temperature.
  2. Water is used for transpiration carrier of nutrients from the soil to green plant tissues. Water forms over 90% of the plant body by green or fresh weight basis. Plants can synthesis food through photosynthesis only in the presence of water in their system. Water helps to maintain the turgidity of cell walls.

The main reasons are: 1) because of the increasing in pollution the water table gets disturbed. 2) because of less number of trees in big cities can't bring rain which leads to lowering of water table in big cities. 3)due to increase in population which leads to global warming and it effect the water table also.
