Answer:

1. Water is a good conductor of electricity, one must not touch the water being heated by an immersion rod. The rod should be disconnected to a switch first and removed from the water in order to use the water.

2. As water is a good conductor of electricity, electric switches must not be touched beacuse it might give an electric shock which is deadly.

answer

1) because there is small amount of electric current flows through it . So , this small amount of electric current leaks through water which may cause to get electric shock .

2) an electric switch is a component that can disconnect or connect the conducting path in an electrical circuit , interrupting the electric current or diverting it from one conductor to another .

because wet body can act as a good conductor of electricity.
