1.Why was Ashoka known as a unique ruler? (answer in short)​

Ashoka was a king of the mauryan empire . He wasa unique ruler because he defeated many rulers but his last war that is in kalinga war ,after a feirce battle he defeated them. But after seeing the death, suffering and sorrowness he decided never to battle a war again and devote his rest of his life to serve his people.
