1 wire of length 1 m 20 cm is cut into two equal
ter pieces. One piece is bent to form a square and
the other one bent to form a rectangle of length 22 CM. compare the areas of the rectangle the square formed.​

length of the wire is 1m 20cm= 120cm

two equal part length =120/2=60cm

brdth of the rectangle =60/2-22=8cm

area of of rectangle=22*8= 176 cm2

for square

length of the side =60/4= 15cm

area of the square=15*15= 225 cm2

area of square greater than area of rectangle
