Factual description on the the cottage industries of Assam.
★ Assam has one of the biggest cottage industries in our country India and this get shortage of other important industries except tea and oil.
★ Mineral oil is sent via pipeline to Assam's refinery at Bihar.
★ The development of the industries has been stopped because of less transport system.
★ Due to lack of adequate local market and separation from the rest of India and also many new industrial units have been started.
★ Wood resources are being used in saw mills and plywood and match factories.
