Sir,

Through the columns of your acclaimed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the problem of water scarcity in our area due to poor water supply. It is one of the major problems for the people as the water supply is limited to 2-3 hours only which is insufficient to meet our needs. Even the pressure is very low and supply is inconsistent which is creating problems for the people to continuing their daily routines. Even the supply of water is more often unclean that is causing health issues for the people. Overall the situation has turned extremely pathetic and out of control.

Several requests have been made to the concerned authorities but in vain. So, I request the concerned authorities on my colony's behalf to kindly consider this problem and improve the quality and supply of water in our area. I also request to kindly increase the hours of water supply so that our daily needs are fulfilled without any flaw as summers are going on and water is a must. I hope that you will publish this in your newspaper which would help draw the attention of concerned authorities towards this problem and we can soon look forward to a better solution to this problem as soon as possible.

Sub: Scarcity of water in my locality

Respected ma'am,

I am Karuna, resident of A-20, Sector 4, Ranchi. I am writing a letter after concerned steps by writing letter to Corporation, no action has been taken.

So, as the summers are approaching, we always face water scarcity, but this year we are facing it, too early. We cannot get water everytime and need to save it, although we try it every year, the Corporation hasn't responded about the same yet. I think, separate water systems should be set up, so that when water comes, extra storage tanks can give us water. And, river water should be filtered if a distillation factory is set up.

I hope my letter will be posted in esteemed columns so that sleeping authorities can help us doing so.
