Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

1.

i) Given numbers are 3 and 4

The first 3 multiples of 3

= 3×1 , 3×2 , 3×3

= 3,6,9

The first 3 multiples of 4

= 4×1 , 4×2 , 4×3

= 4,8,12

ii) Given numbers are 5 and 10

The first 3 multiples of 5

= 5×1 , 5×2 , 5×3

= 5,10,15

The first 3 multiples of 10

= 10×1 , 10×2 , 10×3

=10,20,30

iii) Given numbers are 8 and 12

The first 3 multiples of 8

= 8×1 , 8×2 , 8×3

= 8,16,24

The first 3 multiples of 12

= 12×1 , 12×2 , 12×3

= 12,24,36

2)

i) Given number = 36

36 = 1×36

36 = 2×18

36 = 3×12

36 = 4×9

36 = 6×6

36 = 9×4

36 = 12×3

36 = 18×2

36 = 36×1

The factors of 36 = 1,2,3,4,6,9,12,18,36

ii) Given number = 75

75 = 1×75

75 = 3×25

75 = 5×15

75 = 15×5

75 = 25×3

75 = 75×1

The factors of 75 = 1,3,5,15,25,75

Used formulae:-

→ Multiples of a number obtained by multiplying the given number with 1,2,3...

→ Every number has infinite number of multiples.

→ A number divides the given number exactly then the number is called its factor .

→ 1 is a factor of every number
