Answer:

1 a) Blood has RBC's, WBC's, platelets and a fluid called plasma. Whereas lymph has WBC's and watery fluid. They both have immune and also circulatory functions in them. One of the major differences between them is that blood flows through blood vessels and lymph through lymphatic vessels.

b) Blood can flow through vessels inside the body such as arteries and veins. This type of circulation is called closed circulation. Open circulation happens when there are no vessels to contain the blood and it flows freely through the cavities of the body.

c) Diastole and systole are two phases of the cardiac cycle. They occur as the heart beats, pumping blood through a system of blood vessels that carry blood to every part of the body. Systole occurs when the heart contracts to pump blood out, and diastole occurs when the heart relaxes after contraction.

d) -The QRS wave represents the depolarization of the ventricles, which initiates the ventricular contraction.

Complete answer:

P-Wave T-Wave

A P-wave is produced due to the depolarization of the atrial musculature A T-wave is produced due to the repolarization of ventricular musculature

2. The SA node has the inherent capability to generate a wave of contraction and also controls the heartbeat which is why it is termed as the pacemaker. As the heartbeat is triggered by the sinoatrial node, and impulse of contraction originates in the heart, the human heart is known as myogenic.
