Final result :
y = x/(x+1) + Ce^x/ (x+1) where C is arbitrary constant and x is not equal to -1.

A first order linear equations is of the form 
y' + p(x)y = r(x) where p(x) and r(x) are continous functions . 




Steps: 
1) Integrating factor of first Order linear equation is ( e power (integ) P(x)dx) 

2) Multiply Integrating factor in both sides of given equation .

Then , Integrate in both sides .
