We need to exert a force in pulling plants because the roots of a plant goes deep inside the ground.

• This will be due to because gravity plants climb up and down also. Plants have many parts like stem and root. The roots will be supported to keep them standing.

Sunderlal Bahuguna was a Chipko movement leader and environmentalist.

• He was spent his entire life to reform society. He was spent his time to educate village people.

• He had an active role in the Chipko movement.

• For so many years Sunderlal fighting for the protection of forests in the Himalayas.
