The formula needed to solve this question is

Angle= $\frac{60*Hour-11*Minute}{2}$

The hour hand is on 10

and the minute hand is on 10min

Putting these values in above given formula we get,

= $\frac{60*10-11*10}{2}$      

= $\frac{600-110}{2}$           ∵ 60×10= 600 and 11×10= 110

= $\frac{490}{2}$
