There is a mistake in question.

Question should be 10,12,14,16,_,_,22

The given sequence is an A.P.

Here,

a =  t_{1} = 10

d = 2

So the missing terms are 18 and 20.

Sequence

10,12,14,16,18,20,22

Answer:

The next term is 16, 18,20,21

Step-by-step explanation:

The given series is a series of composite number.

10 is a composite number because it has more than two factors that is 2, 5,1 .

12 is a composite number because it has more than two factors that is 2,6,1.

14 is also a composite number because it has more than two factors that is 2,7,1.

15 is also composite number because it has more than two factors that is 3,5,1.

Now next term 16 is a composite number because it has also more than two factors that is 4,2,8,1.

17 is not a composite number because it does not have more than two factors so it is not a member of series.

18 is also composite number because it has more than two factors that is 2,9,1. So, the next number of the series after 16 is 18.

Now comes 19 which is also not a composite number because it has not more than two factors. So, it is not a member of the series.

Now comes 20 which is a composite number because it has more than two factors that is 2,5,4,1. So, it is a member of the series. That is next member after 18 is 20.

Now after 20 their comes 21 which is also composite number because it has more than two factors that is 4,5,2,10,1. So, after 20, 21 is a member of series.

Hence the series get completed.

Composite number:

Composite numbers have more than two factors.

Composite numbers are evenly divisible by their factors.

Each composite number is a factor of itself.
