Given Data :-

  • P(x) = 3r² - kr - 6
  • α+β = 3

 \\  \\

To Find :

  • value of k

 \\  \\

Solution :-

 \\

 \huge \tt α + β =  -  \frac{b}{a}

then ,

 \huge \tt 3 =  \frac{  \cancel- ( \cancel - k)}{3}

 \huge \tt k = 3 \times 3 = 9

 \large \tt \ast \:  \: the \:  \: value \:  \: of \:  \: k = 9
