Answer :

Simplification

= 10-[8-{11+30÷(4-(5-7)}]

= 10 - [8-{11+30÷(4-(-2)}]

= 10 - [8-{11+30÷(4+2)}]

= 10 - [8-{11+30÷6}]

= 10 - [8-{11+5}]

= 10 - [8-16]

= 10 - [-8]

= 10 + 8

= 18

Thus , 18 is the required answer !

We need to apply BODMAS.

BODMAS is an operation in mathematics that tells us in which order we should solve a problem. The order of operations are-

  • Brackets
  • Of
  • Division
  • Multiplication
  • Addition
  • Subtraction

Now let's solve your question keeping the above in mind.

The problem is ⇒ 10-[8- \{11+30\div (4-(5-7) \}]

First we solve the simple bracket (which is the smallest bracket).

10-[8- \{11+30\div (4-(-2) \}]

Now we apply the integer law which is ⇒ -(-)=+

10-[8- \{11+30\div (4+2) \}]

10-[8- \{11+30\div 6 \}]

Now we do the curly brackets. In this bracket, we shall first do division and then addition.

10-[8- \{11+5}]

10-[8- 16]

Now we do the box bracket which is the biggest bracket.

10-[8- 16]

10-(-8)

Now we apply the integer law which is ⇒ -(-)=+

10+8

18

10-[8- \{11+30\div (4-(5-7) \}]=18
