Hence, ratio of quantity sold at 14% profit and 6% loss,
= 2:18 = 1:9
Hence, pulses sold at 14% profit,
= (50*1)/10 = 5 kg
At 6% Wheat sold at loss = 45 kg.

Answer:

5 kg at 14% profit

45 kg at 6% loss

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

Let x be cost of 1 kg of rice

Let the trader sells 'n' kg of rice at 14% profit

So, selling price of n kg of rice  = nx(1 + 14/100)

= 57nx/50

Let the trader sells '50 - n' kg of rice at 6% loss

So, selling price of 50- n kg of rice = (50 - n)*x(1 - 6/100)

= (50 - n)x(47/50)

Given that trader gets loss of 4% on whole

So, total Price he had got after selling 50 kg of rice

= (50x)(1 - 4/100)

= 48x

57nx/50 + 47/50*(50 - n)x = 48x

57n/50 + 47 - 47n/50 = 48

10n/50 = 1

n = 5

Hence, trader had sold 5 kg of rice at 14% profit and the remaining

45 kg of rice at 6% loss.

Hope, it helps !
