(10) A train attains a velocity of 36 km/h after accelerating uniformly from rem in 5 set. Find the distance travelled.​

Answer:

Velocity= 36 km/h

= 36×5/18 m/s

= 10 m/s (In order to convert km/h to m/s then we have to multiply the number with 5/18 m/s)

The other formula of distance is velocity×time

Distance= velocity×time

= 10 m/s × 5 s

= 50 m

As the distance is more convenient in kilometres, thus we will change it into km.

1 km= 1000 m

1 m= 1/1000 km

50 m= 50/1000 km

= 1/20 km = 0.05 km(Answer)

Thus, the answer is 0.05 km.
