Here u(Initial velocity)=0, v(Final velocity)=36kmh,

t=5 sec.

So acceleration= v-u/t

=36-0/5

=36/5 m/s2

To find Distance we use second equation of motion that is-

s = ut+1/2at2

s = 0×5 + 1/2×36/5×25

s = 18×5

s = 90 km

Distance travelled by train = 90 km.
