Parallel sides of trapezium=28 cm and 18.8 cm

Height= 1/2 of longer parallel side = 1/2 × 28 = 14 cm

Then

Area of trapezium = 1/2×(Sum of parallel sides)×h

=1/2 ×(28+18.8) × 14 = 7× 46.8 = 327.6 sq cm

Now

As side of square = 18 .8 cm

Then

Area of square = Side × side = 165.44 sq cm

Therefore

Total area of the figure = Area of trapezium+Area of square = 327.6 + 165.44 = 493.04 sq cm
