Valli made a number of preparations to enjoy a bus ride to the nearest town. She made sure that that she had the money for the bus ride which was 60 paisas. She ignored a number of her wishes in terms of buying balloons and candies to finally come up with the money.
Secondly, she decided to ride the bus during the afternoon. The reason behind was that her mother took a nap every afternoon and it will be easier to get out. Also, the crowd ratio is less during the day.
Finally she packed everything she would need along with the money and the map and made her way to the bus ride.
