10 crest and 10 trough are produced by a source of sound wave in 0.1 sec the distance between a crest and a trough is 50 cm . Calculate wavelength frequency

1 crest + 1 trough = 1 wave

10 crest + 10 Trough = 10 Waves

time = 0.1 sec or 1/10 secdistance between 1 crest and trough is 50cm = wavelength/2

wavelength = 50 x2 = 100cm or 1M

Time for 10waves = 1/10 sec

so 100 waves in 1 sec (10 x 10)

frequency = 100HZ

Time period = ?

10 waves need 0.1 sec

1 wave needs ?

0.1/10

= 0.01

time period = 0.01
