Plastics are made of many chemicals. These chemicals willbe always leaching out into the water. If the water is cold small amount is leached, but still it is highly not recommended. If the liquid is hot, which highly recommended not to use them in the first place, they trigger high leaching of chemicals. Even some products tell that they are heat resistant but still there will be chemicals leaching out of the products. For them heat resistant means that the product will not melt if you pour hot liquids but they don’t care about chemicals being released into the hot liquid.
When the plastics are thrown into the oceans, their body starts disintegrating into microbeads. That’s a real dangerous issue. Those micro beads enter into fish body. And when we eat those fishes, we are consuming that plastic.
Plastics are non-biodegradable. Hence it is going to remain in the environment for many years.
There are prepared such that its for one time use only and that’s the biggest disadvantage, it can’t be reused or in reality it’s not being reused because we can always get a new plastic bag.
I hope it help you
