Solution -

Here ,

So , 1 dragon will take ( 7 × 10 ) = 70 days to complete the work .

Now , for 5 dragons -

=> It will take ( 70 / 5 ) = 14 days to complete the work.

So , 5 dragons can do ( 1 / 14 ) th of the work in one day .

But for 10 mammoths, it takes 14 days for the work to be to complete.

So , 10 mammoths can do ( 1 / 14 ) th of the work in one day .

Now , they work together .

So , together, they can complete ( 1 / 14 ) th + ( 1 / 14 ) th = ( 1 / 7 ) th of the work in 1 day .

Thus , it will take 10 days to complete the work .
