1.Lahore is derivative name of Luv, and Kasur is of Kusha. Both were sons of Lord Rama, mentioned in the epic Ramayana.

8.Fakir Khana is one of the largest privately owned museum in South Asia that contains over 20,000 exhibits. This museum was founded by Muslim Fakir family in 18th Century. They were given esteem respect during Ranjit Singh era.

10.Wazir Khan mosque has gained worldwide attention over the years due to its unique and stunning architecture. This place has become one of top tourist spot for photo shot in Lahore.

Use of chemical thread caused human casualties during last 15 years that forced Govt of Pakistan to impose complete ban on kiting and Basant in Lahore and rest of Punjab. Being a Punjabi, I miss kite flying alot.
