x² - x - 72 = 0

(x-9)*(x+8) = 0

x = 9 or x = -8

The relation between the zeros and the coefficients is that, that coefficient of x term will be the negative of sum of zeros, ie, -(9+ -8) = -(1) = -1

And the constant term will be the product of the zeros, ie, 9*-8 = -72
