In grade 8, there are 70 students. Twenty five are taking math, 33 are taking English. Of the students taking math and English, 3 are taking both subjects. How many students are not enrolled in either subject?
The answer is 15 students.
33-3=30 (English)
25-3=22 (Mathematics)
3 (both subjects)
Therefore 30+22+3=55
Total students = 70
Therefore students who haven't taken any subject are 70-55= 15
