- It is the first and oldest national park in India located in Nainital and Pauri District, Ramnagar Town, Uttarakhand, India.
- It was named Hailey National Park but it was later honoured by a great conservationist Jim Corbett.
- The park was renamed in 1956, after the independence of India.
- The flora and fauna are great for tigers to live in.
- As we know that tigers are becoming endangered species, parks are like this will prevent tigers from poachers.
