Let me help you with this question.
Given that, 10 men can lay a road 75 km long in 5 days
Therefore,
75 / (10 x 5) = 75 / 50
75 / (10 x 5) = 15 / 10 km per man per day.
Now, we have to calculate the number of days in which 15 men lay a road 45 km long.
Let number of days be 'D'
Then,
45 / (15 x D) = 15 / 10
15 x D = 45 x 10/15
D = (3 x 10) / 15
D = 2
which shows that 15 men lay a road 45 km long in 2 days.
Hopefully it helps.
Thanks.
