Let the height of the tower's shadow be x meters at that time.

According to the question, when the height of the tree is 10m, the shadow is 18m far.

Let the angle made with horizontal be Ф.

Therefore,

tanФ = 10/18

tanФ = 5/9

For the tower, the angle made with horizontal would be the same as the position of the sun is the same.

The height of the tower is 120m. Hence,

tanФ = 120/x

$5/9 = 120/x\\x=120(9)/5\\x=216$

Hence, the height of the shadow of the tower is 216m.
