GIVEN :

Mr. Gupta divides 81,000 among his three children, Ashok, Mohit and Geeta.

• A way that Ashok gets four times what Mohit gets and Mohit gets 2.5 times what Geeta gets.

TO FIND :

• Find the share of each of them = ?

SOLUTION :

• Let the share of Geeta is 'x' .

• Share of Mohit = (2.5) x

• And the share of Ashok = (4)(2.5) x = 10 x

▪︎ Total Amount = 81,000

  \bf \implies Geeta's \:  \: share +  Mohit's \:  \: share + Ashok's share = 81000

  \bf \implies x +  2.5x + 10x= 81000

  \bf \implies 3.5x + 10x= 81000

  \bf \implies 13.5x = 81000

  \bf \implies x =  \dfrac{81000}{13.5}

 \implies \large{ \boxed{ \bf x = 6000}}

▪︎ Hence –

• Geeta's share = 6,000

• Mohit's share = 15,000

• Ashok's share = 60,000

\large{\red{\underline{\underline{\bold{Given:-}}}}}

• Mr. Gupta divides Rs.81000 among his three children Ashok, Mohit and Geeta.

• Ashok gets four times of what Mohit gets.

• Mohit gets 2.5 times of what Geeta gets.

\large{\blue{\underline{\underline{\bold{To\:Find:-}}}}}

• The share of each of them

\large{\green{\underline{\underline{\bold{Solution:-}}}}}

According to the given question:-

Let the share of Geeta be x

The share of Mohit = 2.5x

Share of Ashok = 4(2.5x) = 10x

Total amount shared among the three = 81000

So:-

\sf \implies x + 2.5x + 10x = 81000

\sf \implies 13.5x = 81000

\sf \implies x =  \dfrac{81000}{13.5}

\sf \implies x =  6000

Therefore:-

Share of Geeta = x = Rs. 6000

Share of Mohit = 2.5x = 2.5 × 6000 = Rs. 15000

Share of Ashok = 10x = 10× 6000 = 60000

Hence;

\large \boxed{ \sf \rightarrow Share \: of \: Geeta =  Rs.6000}

\large \boxed{ \sf \rightarrow Share \: of \: Mohit=  Rs.15000}

\large \boxed{ \sf \rightarrow Share \: of \: Ashok =  Rs.60000}
