Solution:

When an object is fully immersed in water

The object suffers an apparent weight loss equal to the weight of the fluid displaced.

apparent weight of the object = Weight of object - apparent weight loss

=> apparent weight of the object = Weight of object -  weight of the fluid displaced.

Weight of object = Weight in Air = 10N

Weight in water =  apparent weight of the object  = 8N

=> 8  = 10 - weight of the fluid

=> weight of the fluid  = 2N

The weight of the liquid displaced by the object will be 2N
