side is 8 cm
Diagonals of rhombus bisects each other perpendicularly
Let say other diagonal is 2d
Then ( 2d/2)² + (16/2)² = 10²
=> d² + 8² = 10²
=> d = 6
=> 2d = 12
Hence other diagonal is 12 cm
Area of rhombus = (1/2) * product of diagonals
= (1/2) * 16 * 12
= 96
