Answer:Some of the examples I can think of are:

1]The straps of a bag. They are made wide to put less pressure on your shoulders .

2]The foundation of buildings are made wide.

3]Tanks have caterpillar tracks which increases the surface area to decrease pressure. Or otherwise, they would sink in the sand due to their own weight .
