(a) Litre of petrol a car can hold = 80

it had, 56.765 litre of petrol , so we have to find left litre of petrol . Then ,

= ( 80 - 56.765 )L = 23.235

So, 23.235 litre of petrol can be filled in car.

(b) Total distance travelled by raju =

30 km

Distance travelled by foot =

2.458 km

Distance travelled by cycle =

12.453 km

So, total distances travelled by foot and

cycle

= ( 2.458 + 12.453)km = 14.911

Distance travelled by scooter =

= ( 30 - 14.911 )km = 15.089 km

(c) Total litre of water carrying by water tanker

= 4506.80 L

If 4506.80 L of petrol will be fill in 8 tank ,

the each tank contains = 4506.80 / 8

= 563.35 L

(d) weight of 5 equal packets of toffees =

124.45 kg

So, weight of 1 packet = 124.45 / 5 =

24.89 kg

(e) Total number of words read by rina in

9 minutes = 135.63

Number of words she reads in 1 m = 135.63 / 9

= 15.07

So, 15.07 words she reads in 1 minute.
