1)because tap water contains many minerals and ion so that it conducts electricity but the distill water doesn't contain ion so it doesn't conducts electricity
2) dry HCL gas does not turn blue litmus to red because that's it gives out the h positive ions when it is dissolved in water so the dilute hydrochloric acid does it
3)during summer season a milkman usually adds a very small amount of baking soda to fresh milk because to neutralize the acid and to prevent the soring of milk
4)for the dilution of acid acid is added into water and not water into acid because the reaction is very exothermic so it can harm us so we add acid in water not water into acid
5) ammonia releases OH ions in water so that's why it is a base
