Reaction is 2A + 4B ---> 3C + 4D
i) moles of A reacted = 5 mol
=> mol to stoichiometric coefficient ratio = 5 mol / 2 = 2.5 mol
for B, mol to stoichiometric coefficient ratio = 6 mol / 4 = 1.5 mol
Since mol to stoichiometric coefficient ratio is least for B So limiting reagent is B, and it will decide the yield of product.
ii) Since B will decide the yield of product.
4 mol of B gives = 3 mol of C
=> 6 mol of B will give = (3 mol / 4 mol) * 6 mol = 2 mol of C
