GIVEN :-

  • Three sides of triangle are 7 cm , 24 cm , 25 cm.

TO VERIFY :-

  • Wheather it is a right triangle or not.

SOLUTION :-

Here , We will use the Pythagorean triplet , If sides of a triangle are a Pythagorean triplet , then we can say that the triangle is a right angle triangle. So let's apply the Pythagorean triplet rule in all the three sides of triangle.

As we know that in " Pythagorean Triplet " , the sum of square of first two side is equal to the square of third side

, i.e,

a² + b² = c²

➳ (7)² + (24)² = (25)²

➳ 49 + 576 = 625

➳ 625 = 625

Hence the triangle is a right angle triangle.
